Critical Response Codes (CRC) - Manitoba
When a prescription claim is sent to Manitoba Health and an issue is detected, the claim may be stopped with a Critical Response Code (CRC). These codes will indicate the issue and may require an intervention code to be bypassed. The window below is displayed when a CRC is returned.

Submitting a DUR with an Intervention Code
A prescription may be required to be submitted with an intervention code if it is returned with a CRC.
To submit a DUR with an intervention code:
- In the Critical Response Codes window, under the Intervention Code section, select an appropriate intervention code from the dropdown.
- ME1 - adverse drug interactions with severity level 1.
- MY - duplicate drug has been dispensed at a different pharmacy.
- MZ - duplicate therapy has been dispensed at a different pharmacy.
- From the Pharmacist Initials dropdown, select the initials of the pharmacist submitting the DUR.
- In the Rx Note field, enter a note if required.
- Select Submit DUR.
